Data privacy, though a novel concept, has gained much attention locally and internationally due to the adoption of the so-called “new normal” brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. With this, in keeping with the demands of the new normal, the Law Firm of Mallari Fiel Brillante Ronquillo began offering its data privacy services, led by one of its Founding Partners and Certified Data Privacy Officer, Atty. Jasmin R. Fiel Samson.
On 24 May 2021, one of the Firm’s Junior Associates, Atty. Jonathan R. De Guzman, passed the Data Privacy Officer Certification Course under the Center for Research and Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific.
