Profile:
Jasmin graduated Cum Laude, with a degree in BA Philosophy from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She began her study of law at San Beda College of Law before graduating from the Recoletos de Manila School of Law – San Sebastian College where she earned her Bachelor of Laws in April 2007. She was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2008.
She began her practice of law in an Ortigas law firm. As an associate lawyer, she handled cases in the various fields of law.
After more than a year as an associate, Jasmin decided to take the road less travelled. She began to carve her own path as a lawyer, and became one of the founding partners of The Law Firm of Mallari Fiel and Lascano, now known as The Law Firm of Fiel Brillante Ronquillo Tible (“FBRT”).
In October 2020, she successfully completed and passed her Enderun Data Privacy Certification Program in Partnership with NADPOP. This further honed her knowledge on Data Privacy, and deepened her resolve to be a champion in inculcating a culture of privacy in every organization.
She is currently the Chief Operating Officer of FBRT. At the same time, Jasmin also heads FBRT’s Data Privacy Team, and ensures that the culture of privacy in the firm is alive and thriving.
Apart from her stint with FBRT, she is also the Corporate Secretary of Measurements and Control Technology, Inc.
While Jasmin enjoys wearing all these hats, it is the extinguishing of dragons and singing the rainbow song with her husband and son that is her most favorite thing to do.
